Nice link... Too bad they don't have a way to search for biodiesel.

You could try the site below although I can't vouch for its accuracy since my biodiesel supplier isn't on there.

Cool (pun intented) video. I used to live in Fargo and most of my gasoline-powered cars had trouble starting when it was colder than -20 if the block heater wasn't plugged in.

I wonder how long the glow plugs had to run in that video. The coldest temp for my CRD is +13 and the plugs only ran for a second or two.

Hard to say and you will get people who will try to discredit the video. But at least VW is doing their best to erase the diesel prejudice out there. They also have a video doing a comparison between the Jetta and the Prius. The Jetta is just a better looking car all the way around.

Go diesel.

I think VW also has a video where they put a white coffee filter against the tailpipe to show it doesn't even get dirty.

90% of my friends and family thought we were stupid for buying a diesel until they actually saw it in action.

Yeah, cool vid for sure. They need to put some marketing behind diesels to really show people the truth...still a lot of misconception out there about the modern turbo diesel engine.

My Mom couldn't understand why I would buy a diesel until she rode in my CRD. She said, "I thought this was a diesel? It doesn't make that clack-clack sound, it doesn't smoke, and it doesn't stink."

Unfortunately, most people are like my Mom. They still remember the diesel crap from the 70's and early 80's. We had a diesel van when I was a kid. Ran great, but it was SLOW, noisy, smokey, and stinky.

I'm actually a bit saddened by the CRD. I like the diesel sound, and I actually like the smell. I remember getting sick as a dog when I was a kid from smelling diesel fuel straight from the can. I still love the smell though.
