Thanks for the advise. Which DashHawk do I buy for the GC? And if I understand you right, I can clear the error codes with it?? If that is the case, I will be looking for one to buy. Thanks for the earlier photos. They help.

They also sell these units (generally Scantron brand) in the range of about 50-200 bucks. Keep in mind, the DH cost just about as much and has WAY more features.

Here's a link to the DH website:

Yes, this unit can clear MIL codes. Beware, it cannot clear the trouble codes stored in your various controller computers. Only a StarScan device can do this (to date).

Have fun!!

So far my best mpg(all city) with the spider has been 21.38mpg and worst has been the stock rating of 19.6, not bad considering the 3.0 seriously kicks some a$$ now.

Wow, that's good. My info screen on my dash says 19MPG and I got 22MPG highway trunk was loaded and a roof bag on it cruising at 70-75 MPH. How did you get that in the city? Could me my heavy right foot...

Put your foot on the brake and rev it up to ~1500RPM and let off the brake and the only delay you might have is the from the tires spinning.

Good idea, I like it. It is rare case when I need to jump off the line, so your way seems like an excellent idea. Thanks.

P.S. Damn Brabus box is still not in, maybe tomorrow....

Just got it on, it started, green light is blinking inside the box.
So far I can tell that turbo whistles a lot sooner and litle louder (I have K&N filter, still louder). I barely have to press accelerator to get her to move. Entire behavior under acceleration is different, I can feel it.
I did have to remove those spongy cover from the top of cylinder heads (bypass connectors do not fit under them), hope this will be ok by Merlin?

Increased rail pressure? Possible VGT actuation augmentation?

Would you happen to have a Gtech or Dash Hawk? I'd like to see what kind of est. E/T your getting.

Sounds pretty cool!
