Commander VS Explorer

Car and Driver magazine did a interesting comparison between Jeep Commander with Ford Explorer.

C&D needs to stay far far away from rating Jeeps; I do agree about the minivan comment at the end, don't get one if you don't need one

I knew what the verdict was going to be 1 second after I opend the website. 2 Explorer ads staring me in the face gave it away.

I really, really dislike Car and Driver.

edit: holy crap, i was wrong. I still don't like the magazine though.

It was not very in depth, and it seemed to favor the Explorer an dteh in the end just give the award to the Jeep.

An article I read on cars.com awhile back was comparing the Commander to a Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. They complained that it didn't ride as smooth as either of those vehicles.
