OK, stupid question, i know, but i gotta ask, is there a CD in the player? if so is it stuck in there, or can you take it out? does the player recognize it at all? have you tried different cd's? it is possible it doesnt like that one.

I bought used Commander(Sport 7 pass. version), so I have no idea that there is any CD disc inside. When I switched engine on, I have heard some voice from REQ ( sounds a bit like CD changer ), but finally nothing happend.

When I press mode button, there is still no CD mode, only "SAT CALL 888-...".

Sounds like you need to put a disc in there.

sounds broke, not stupid. see if the dealer can fix it. you should be able to insert a cd ANY time even with the jeep off and the keys in your pocket, unless there is already a cd in there, in that case you can eject it at any time jeep on or off.

Are you pressing the "LOAD" button and then the disc number you wish to load/eject?

Exactly, when I press "LOAD", then I tried press disc number. I repeated that 6 times... But this only results in switching between FM channels...nothing else happens.

And "gently insert CD into player" doesn't work. .. Radio FM/AM works fine...

I also tried to press and hold "LOAD/EJECT" button for 5 seconds, and nothing...
