Thanks.

Not much to update. I finally got done with a year long project at work and going to take some time off and get this thing running again. I still have quite a bit of work left, but I hoping a week or so off should give me enough time to get this thing closer to running again. Pretty much need to finish the turbo pedestal, intake manifolds, and rear suspension.

This is awesome! I took some time off stalking the forums, but started again and went through Omelet's stuff, and now came across yours and man! You guys are doing amazing things! I was thinking about going with OME when the time comes, but after checking out what you offer on your site and reading this... I do have some questions, but I don't want to hijack, I'll PM.

Great work sir, just great!

Thanks, I should have a lot more updates coming up shortly.

I was supposed to get some time off, but work and other stuff got in the way. I am finishing up a bunch of stuff today and planning on taking the next two weeks off to really focus on this Jeep. It is killing me that it's taken this long, but that is how it goes. I will have a bunch of pics and stuff shortly. Pic of some things to come. This is just for mock up and stuff. Didn't need a expensive winch at the moment.

Well, life can really suck some times. I was supposed to have some time off. However, it started flooding and I work in Hydraulic Research so we get busy when it floods. Besides flood prep for our buildings we the Iowa Flood Center and work to do for that. So this is what I have gotten done with the little time I've had lately.
I pulled out the gas tank and skid to notch the skid for the control arms. Need to get a picture of that.
Pulled off the exhaust and the rear cradle to make way for my new cradle for the rear suspension. Need pics.
Painted a bunch of the suspension parts and working on getting them installed.

I am making a hidden winch mount. It will work with the intercooler. I am trying to make it fit with my upgraded intercoolers as well, but its pretty tight. With stock intercooler its easy peasy. Omelet gave me some help with the winch plate and I have it drawn up in CAD and some of the plates cut out, just need to cut off the bumper support and give it a try. Our winch selection will be limited based on size, but plenty of options for a vehicle of our weight. It will look more like Omelets winch mount than the other options as those are too bulky and put it upside down.

Some updates, haven't had a ton of time lately, but taking a couple days off from work to get a few things done. Was up till 4 am this morning working on things. Hope to get a bit more done today and tomorrow. I really miss driving this thing.

Finishing up the front suspension, everything is painted and ready to be installed for the last time.

Close up of the front control arms.

Pics of the rear control arms.

Heim Steering Arms, I do like how they turned out. Plenty of travel left even with the maxing out the CV's and upper control arm.

Rear Control arms in and axle pushed back 1" to allow tires to better fit in the wheel arch. Still need to cut the fenders to allow the tires to hit the bumps. I have about 2.5" of material to cut away.

Rear cantilever arm tacked together

Some pics of other work being done, notching some tubes for the rear cradle assembly, sawing some tube caps, and making some chips for some other parts.

So much win in here. I would very much appreciate it if you would just stop the rest of your life and just work on the WK porn... all the time...
