Catalytic cleft

Hi guys. These are photographs of my catalytic. It has a crack a little below the sensor. so far I do not have any associated code. I also made sure to move it and apparently this firm. what dou you recommend? regards! 3.0 crd 2005

are you sure its a crack ? can you feel air coming out ? if its cracked, I would thing a good welder could fix it. if not check rock auto for a replacement cat

If it's on your 2005 CRD, just find a shop to cut the cat out and weld in a pipe. The CRDs do not have an O2 sensor downstream to trigger a CEL. Plus if its a 2005, it might be a little clogged and ready for a removal or replacement. That is if you do not have emissions testing where you are located.
