Cargo area illumination

Sunday am I went to take my sister to the airport before dawn. Sadly I found out the only cargo light I had was burned out (the one in tailgate). While ill rectify that, I was wondering if anyone has more effective illumination for the back that isn't invasive. Pics and thoughts are welcome. Thanks.

Yes LED strip in the top behind the vent. You should be able to find a few write-ups. Omelet has a good one in his build thread.

I had exactly the same problem. I pulled out the standard assembly and replaced it with a pushed in superglued round led assembly.

Ill get a picture once its dark, it's a load better that the standard one , neat and very easy to do.

Something like one of these fit great, I can't see the exact ones I had listed.

Sadly the led strip won't work on my car, as you can see the dog kit blocks it.

Has anyone else done any other interior light mods ?

Surely you could find somewhere else to stick a couple of those LED strips back there.
