bumper replacement/brush guard/front skid options?

I know this is one of those topics that has been beaten to death, but input from the entire community would be awesome in this case.

I spent awhile this afternoon talking to Ilya @ Sinister 7 Workshop about the lack of options available to us WK'ers for bumpers/brush guards/etc. I told him I was most interested in something saguro looking with a stinger hoop, he was very receptive to the idea, just concerned about additional weight.

This is where you guys come in, any suggestions/comments/requests? What am I missing on the list below?

BRUSH GUARD
  • 4xguard
BUMPERS
  • ARB
FRONT SKIDS
  • 4xguard
  • Steel Armadillo

Asfir makes a skid as well, and there are quite a few other aftermarket brush guards out there.

Any difference between the front skid by Asfir and the Steel Armadillo? Looks like they both come in aluminum and cover the same area from what I can see

I like this one a lot. Do you have a ballpark guestimate as far as it's weight?

I'd estimate close to 100

Any intention on selling it, or licensing it, or even just throwing the plans online so others can recreate it themselves?

I already sold that one I'll be making a new one once I go back home and I was planning on putting the plans on here

I'd like to see the plans for the one in the picture you posted above. There is a decent metal supplier in my city, that also does pipe bending and waterjet cutting.

I also have a college in my town that focuses on trades, including welding. Might be able to start something up with the professors and/or some of their students for some after-school cash and some work experience, since I am a pretty crappy welder myself, lol.

It will be pretty close to the same just a couple changes to make it looks better imo

Not on this one I'm going to do one that goes from the bumper to radiator cross member when I make the next one
