Bugs!!!!

Is it me, or do bugs love hitting the windshield of these new Commanders?
Anyone try the MOPAR bug deflector yet? If so, does it keep the majority of the bugs off the windshield?

Why can't Jeeps and Hummers get along?

That's how you win the game! 1 point/bug. The secret is finding the right vehicle for the job. You must be on the high score list. You're obviously a good shot.

I haven't really noticed any bug issues, but during the first two weeks we had the Commander, we got four nasty rock hits to the windshield (lots of highway construction around here). I suspect that the vertical windshield position has a lot to do with it.

I got the bug deflector, figuring that it might help some. It helped a lot! I have not had ANY rock hits on the new windshield in the ensuing month since the deflector installation!

Thats what I was looking to hear!
Looks like i'll go out and get the black one then. The chrome one is a little too much bling on a black Commander

Rocks have wings...hmm bugs? rocks? LoL.

Get the mopar bug spray and you prevent rocks from hitting your windshield..makes sense lol...

Either way, it's more coincidence I say..hahaha...

I'm curious though about that bug spray. I don't mind bugs hitting the windshield but when it dries on there, the spray and wipe method doesn't work too well and soon you have bug guts and blood dried up on the windshield making it less attractive viewing from the inside.

As far as rocks, cross my fingers so far haven't gotten hit with one (cross my fingers).
