No, not defensive. Mine came with a lot of chrome, a little too much actually. I cammo'd it instead of rattle-canning it. I have an M1009 that I can get my spray paint fix on.

The chrome in the grill is hidden behind the push bar, lights, shackles, receiver, and two 100 watt Whelen siren speakers. There's so much going on up front most people never notice the grille.

Agreed. There's enough in front of your grille to be googly eyed over that the chrome grille is white noise. Plus if you ever need to simultaneously blind and deafen someone you're set. Sick rig

The 1009 also has two 100 watt siren/air horn/PA speakers, a Whelen Edge police lightbar modified to hold six 35 watt HIDs along with four 55 watt halogens, and two 450 watt 25v aircraft landing lights on the grille. It's fun to drive down the road at night and watch the street lights click off one by one as it goes by.

The WK has a dual band Yaesu ham radio making 50 watts, the M1009 is getting an Ericsson Orion 110 watt radio for 2 meters.

I have wanted one forever! but my home and my wife wont permit it right now....next house will have a steel out building

I used to never carry passengers in the back seat. Now I find myself making sure I'm the driver when we all pile into 1 vehicle so I can show my handles off.

They're still so sexy. I get so many complements on them. I would lie and say I made them but I just can't bring myself to be that douschy. Just so you know I think about it though haha.
