Ain't that the truth. I still have a lot left I want to do. Planning on buying the rest of the lights so I can use all the switches I bought, probably some more armor and I've thought about regearing. Transmissions been ****ing up a lot and hopefully that would help and will take stress off engine from the tires. Just scared that I could blow a cylinder or **** up the engine. That happen to my brothers TJ and he had to do an engine swap. Not planning on doing that.

Loving the build man! Wondering where you got the switches for the lights, and what you used for the grill mod?

Thanks man preciate! It's coming along and I can start to see what I've envisioned slowly starting to pan out. I bought the switches on Amazon. Don't remember what specific kind. If you just look it up on Amazon you should find it. And for the grill mod I just used a forum on here step by step. Love how it turned out!

Trust me im ready and have been ready. I think im going to install the lift kit around thanksgiving though because that's when I'll have time to do it. And I have to wait anyways. I ordered my wheels and tires together from mrwheeldeal and the Duratracs are on back order and they have no idea when they will be back in stock so I'm just waiting.... Again. I'm Looking to get a hypertech too! Did you get it new or used?

Loud clunking noise when shifting from P R or Dr

I recently went to the dealership for the ignition switch recall. While I was there I thought I would ask them if the could take a look at my transmission. I thought it was slipping really bad. Whenever I would accelerate on like a hill, it would make a loud very loud clunking noise and the acceleration would lag until it stopped. It also did this sometimes when changing gears. They said they would take a look. I came back and they said it was a common issue for my model. They said my front differential bushings were worn and that you could see the driveshaft move about an inch or two away from the differential and thats what the knocking sound was. they went ahead and gave me a quote for the fix, it was $580. Probably gonna do it sometime down the line glad to figure out the issue though. I was expecting around $1000 for a transmission issue.

Also after I went to the dealership for the ignition switch recall, once I made it home the next night I realized that my underglow LED lights didn't work, switch lights didn't work, and my lightbar would not work. Not sure what they did with the wiring yet. Going to have to check it out later with someone else since I know nothing about electrical, or take it back in and have them correct it if they even will.

Just ordered a hypertech programmer! As well as the rest of the lights, pods on the back are much needed. I cannot see anything when I backup at night due to the tinted taillights and Windows. I think I should be done spending money now Everything is laid out and ready for the install soon.
