bilstein 5100 vs MLL

Looking at ordering the modified ome off crawl. Just curious will the bilstein 5100 in rear give me more lift then my f150 MLL? If not I'll just order HD rear coils with the fronts and bilstein strut. Already have the rc spacers.

What precisely is "modified" about this setup? Which front Bilsteins are you getting, 4600 series or 5100 series?

The only rear shock that will give you any lift is the MLL because it has a spring on it. They're also a cheap shock so...

IMO, get a good shock (Bilstein) and use stiffer springs or spacers to get your lift.

agreed... youll end up pulling the MML out within months of install to fix the rubber sleeve on the shock, which most have to glue and duct tape to fix it... which the fix will eventually fail and youll have to fix it again.

Your putting 5100 series front struts together with OME springs up front? With which version of OME spring - MD or HD?

What year/engine size is your WK? What engine do you have?

I know some of done this, but given the 3" lift of the OME HD coils and the minimum .75" setting of the Bilstein 5100 series struts, since sounds like a geometry nightmare waiting to unfold. What size tires are you going to install?
