Bilstein 5100's installed (pics)

The fronts were set at 2" with 1/2" spacers and the rear has 2" spacers with the 5100's as well. I had Code 4x4 in Rifle, Co install this and I highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a lift. Excellent service and attention to detail. The front spacers didn't make it in, and yet he just fabricated them instead, so I wouldn't have to wait. I wasn't expecting such a huge improvement in the ride quality but all I can say is, WOW.
Here are some pics. I did cut the bolt because they were very softly touching the 265/70's.

That looks great!! I'm really wanting to get a set of these struts. Seems like they are great for leveling out the front and providing a much better ride. Love the color too!!

Looks great! I'm currently trying to decide which lift to put on for the time being, RC 2" or the 5100s. I have 265/65/17s on, so a little bigger than stock but not as big as your 265/70s.

Since I have a long work commute, I don't want to go taller than necessary. Any suggestions?

The front 5100s are adjustable to 3/4", 1.5 or 2" so you have a few options. I have 5100s all around with Ome HD springs in the rear and MD springs in the front on the lowest strut setting. Also have the Rustys strut spacer. Tires are 285/70s. See pic a couple replies up ^^

I would, knowing what I know now, do exactly what I just did. You could go with 255/70/17s like I had before these. They didn't rub anywhere, even in stock form. If your Jeep has high miles, you might look into the OME kit that replaces the springs too. Both kits are superb. I really had no reason to replace the springs. The ride quality as I said before is so much better, I never really expected to notice such a change. On the highway it rides so smooth you wouldn't think you're in a lifted Jeep. Hell, it rides as nice as my Crown Vic LX. It's still quite firm over larger bumps but much, much more muted than before.

Thanks. Definitely not interested in new tires, I just put the 265/65s on a month ago. Anyway, I'm not looking to go too tall for mileage reasons more than the ride quality. I am not a stranger to lifted Jeeps, 2 out of my last 3 were lifted and I drove them 15-20k miles a year.

I'm leaning towards the adjustable 5100s up front and the MLLs in back to even it out. Just need a little lift to keep the rubbing away, and will worry about the pinch weld if/when I go to bigger tires.

I think when I measured, it was just above 22.5" but I will take another measurement tomorrow and post it up.

Jevnrick, I did what you did and put some 1 inch spacers on. Much better now, no more rubbing and the wheels don't stick outside of the fenders.
