MICHELIN LTX ATII. Had them on my XJ first then when it was time to try em out on the WK. I love them I'm also a 90% on road driver the tread wear is perfect the warranty is 70,000 miles. Only set back is the price tag but I bet you won't be upset with them.. Good luck searching!

Agreed. I want to get them off road badly!

Question:
1. Will a 365/70/r17 fit in the spare location?
2. If not, what's the max that does fit?
3. Whats the solution to fitting a larger tire, and how large of a tire can fit in that augmented space?

I didn't see this posted elsewhere here. I'm about to do a lift & then larger tires. The recommended size I've seen for a 2-inch lift is 365/70/r17 - which is what I'm going with untill convinced otherwise.
I'm doing the Rocky Road 2.25 chuck/spacer lift and the 4xGuard JBA Upper A-arms. I'll upgrade shox/springs later (saving $$$).
Have any of you had problems with fitting a 365/70/r17 in the spare compartment? I've seen posts recomending a solution but don't understand exactly what augmentation they're explaining to get the larger tire to fit.

Thanks
I think you mean 265 haha. Do you have a hitch? If not, it should fit no problems. If you do, you will need to trim the back of the hitch and cut the four bolts down. You may also need to air down your tire to squeeze it in.

Looks like most everyone here has at least the 2" lift.
What do u guys use for a Jack?
My stock jack was never even sufficient with the Jeep's stock height.

I'm going to be getting a hilift soon now that i have the steel armidillo sliders but i have this really awesome low profile 3.25 ton floor jack that is also pretty long that just barely gets the front up when jacking from my sliders

Saw on TreadWirights FB page that they will be offering their version of the KM1 by April. If anyone is into TreadWright tires that is... I love the price, but re-tread tires have me a bit skeptical.
