Anyone ever paint their calipers?

I really want to do a cool mod and I think that this would be a good one for my first mod. It is easy all I need to know how to do is take off a tire. And I can get it done in one day. I think this would give it a more sporty look with out spending all of the money that it would take to add a bummer or lower it ( I don't like the idea of lowing a jeep anywho) but for some reason I have fallen in love with the sporty looking jeep mods.

Seriously, I don't if you're trolling or what but if you don't know how to take your tires/wheels off maybe you should stick to learning general maintenance before "blinging" your calipers out.

You said "all I need to know how to do is take the tire off". If that is true, might I suggest you not touch anything related to the single most important system on your Jeep - the braking system.

Phrasing didn't go as well as planned....

TO BRING THIS ALL AROUND I have painted my calipers, it is pretty straightforward, just make sure you are using caliper paint, or high heat paint; Otherwise it is all wasted effort. I wouldn't go out and spend money on this as it really doesn't do much. But I did have some high heat silver laying around and did paint my jeeps rear caliper covers.

Just make sure you mask off everything, and degrease the crap out of it before you paint it.

Get some pics if you do it.
