For all those "I want windshied lights" people....

Grabbed some scrap and fabbed up a rough bracket. Going to make a Home Depot run tomorrow and make a more presentable bracket.

Aspen Creek just started making windshield light brackets that attach to the latches of your hood. I was interested until they came back with a 59 dollar price tag. If you come up with a solid design and cheaper price, there may be a market for these!

With those lights probably, but a couple of smaller LEDs and you'd be golden. Made a second attempt, might try a little different design tomorrow.

A set of Rigid Dually spots would do well there and stay mostly out of line of sight.

Not a big fan of the aspen creek ones, I think they sit too far forward.

Interesting. I'm thinking about a bit more light but I don't want to mount spotlights on the bumper and have thought about putting them behind the grill. Anyone got any pics of them in action ?

Here's an update, the original design sat too high for my liking. Here's the new prototype, the light mounted is right a 5" wide, the smaller Dually sized 3" wide light will look a lot better.
