Depends, do you want a Stereo with navigation support or do you want a portable gps that can be transferred to any car easily?
Both do the job, depends on what you're looking for!
PS: welcome to the site

A buddy of mine just installed this one:

It is a little pricey, but it is Awesome! I really want one, but I will have to wait until next year.

Yeah they have the kit to attach the radio, but the opening in the dash is no where near the right measurements. I live in a small town with only one car stereo place and they werent too helpful.

Hell... Just get an android phone, or an Iphone (if you have to). THey have built in GPS with navigation (well android does) and its headphone jack can plug into your stock radio (if you have the audio input jack). THats what I do... I can have navigation on whenever I want with turn by turn updated direction, points of interest, pandora, slacker radio, bluetooth calling with a bluetooth headset.... and all with just adding the phone to a regular car mount and a couple wired (power through USB cable/cig lighter and audio cable). Cost me a whopping 30 bucks.

if you do a search, there are quite a few threads that address this topic. they all vary slightly depending on which factory radio you are starting with and if you have satellite radio and/or the factory bluetooth uconnect option.

Nope... they will fit, but it may not have all the parts needed. The bluetooth for example is a seperate module, so is the satellite radio and whatnot. The plugs into the unit are also different... but I believe they are all there, just not activated. So once everything is installed, you would need to have a dealer flash your car with the options installed in order for them to work.

That's what I did. And I added a lock pick so I can play dvd's while in motion.
