after-market roof rack

I am very interested in getting a commander, however there is something that is preventing me from doing it. I need to be able to get my whitewater kayaks ontop of the truck with the aid of a kayak stacker. As of the present time, both thule and yakima do not have a multi-purpose rack option for the commander. If they do come out with a commander option, it would have to be something that fits in the tracks on the roof. The kayak stackers that both companies use will not work with the factory crossbars of the commander.

Has anyone who HAS a commander tried to get a after market roof rack(thule, yakima, etc) onto the truck? Has anyone tried using the mopar "sport utility bars"? Has anyone tried using a thule or yakima kayak stacker with the mopar "sport utility bars"?

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Does it have the same roof mounting system as the WK Grand Cherokee? If so those racks would work. That might be something that you should reserch.
