545RFE pressure line booster mod

I have read quite a few opinions about the 545RFE pressure line mod via the Sonnax plug and play or DIY 2.2k ohm resistor insert...there seems to be no consensus about whether this mod has lasting effects..some say the TCU relearns the pressure needed after an initial line pressure increase with crisper shifts returning levels back to stock.

Suppliers of the Sonnax all say pressure line increase remains the same while privateers say the pressure change reverts as above.

Any one have an AeroForce scan gauge or way of measuring the trans. line pressure with this modification to get some objective data or has their opinion in this area ?

Much Appreciated.
