5.7 Airlift + Daystar

Dear friends,
I'm writing from Italy.

I've just istalled the airlift 1000 kit on my 2005 WK 5.7 hemi, but I have a doubt.
The airlift don't fill all the spring volume (they don't touch on the bottom and on the top of the spring).
In other words they don't work when the car has no loads (they are not compressed at all).
Is it normal?

I haven't istalled the spacers I received with the Airlift kit because on the istructions it is written that they are not required on Grand Cherokee. Is it correct?

Another thing.... My car has the 2'' Daystar lift kit (spacers OVER the original spring).
Is this the reason of the problem? Or there is no problem?
I think that Daystar doesn't change the original spring volume, because they are spacers put OVER the spring.

Could you please answer ASAP?
I have to take the car to the mechanic on Wednesday to add the Airlift spacers, but I have the doubt I'm wrong....

Tnx
