4.7L Engine Swap Information

Are there any articles for swapping the 2005 4.7L for a 2008+ 4.7L? I would assume they are direct bolt up, if the only changes were in the compression and and adding spark plugs.

I come from a race car, and this 2005 4.7L has got to be the worst V8 ever made as far as power/efficiency goes. THe lack of performance aftermarket has me in dire straights here.

Do you think I would be better off selling my 2005 and getting a 2008? Because otherwise the car is perfect for me.

The 2008+ has different engine programming as well. Seems to me like the heads and intake would swap over. The big change was a revised combustion chamber and intake manifold.
