quick info on the tc and jeep 4x4 system that came with 4.7 LAREDO wk's?

Two Questions:
Do you have a chrome T handle just to the right of your shifter?
How many bolts are on your rear diff cover? 10 or 12?

oh god I'm still E browsing through cars.com for wk's to go look at, dealers aggrivate me to no end
Chrome " t " handle will indicate low ranger operation, Leaving me to believe it's quadra trac 2, how would I define between QD2 / QT2 from just photos?

10 bolts = QT2
12 bolts = QD2
That is if there are pix of the under side. Otherwise, there should be a sticker just south of the shifter that says Quadra Drive 2. However that has been known to be removed on some and stuck on other that are QT. So it is a bad way of judging.

Laredos only were made with QT I thought? I thought only limiteds had QDII or 2wd

2005 wk lar. 4.7 w/ " low range " lever exact vehicle I'm looking at, 
thanks for the bolt pattern info. I openly assume jeep went over to chyrsler axl's in the wk ?

Generically yes, but they could be ordered in just about any configuration. I have seen a laredo with the 3.7 and QD2.

I'd really prefer non quadra system, But low range function is essential. I see that BTCS is used on QT2,
can this be turned off via normal tcs on/off ? or something I'll have to live with ?

Well you're in luck! Quadra trac ones come cheaper!
Omelet, that being said, can limiteds come with qt1? Ordered or not?

I k ow for a fa t they are made in qt1 and qt2 but don't personally know anyone with qd2
