4.7 to HEMI swap

Has it been done yet?
I plan to buy a complete 5.7 with wiring, computer and use a CAI and aftermarket exhaust.

Is the radiator assembly the same on both engines?

Are the A/C lines routed the same?

It seems like a simple enough swap, I just want to cover the bases before I buy the engine.

Well, I could not find enough parts to do the swap, so its going back together with a 4.7. I would like to do some upgrades to it as well, but there is not much out for a 4.7.

suggestions?

From what I've heard, and my experience working on these things, the swap would not be a "picnic" unless you had a doner vehicle sitting right next to it. You're right, wiring harnesses, PCM/TCM, exhaust, and a bunch of other stuff needs to be swapped. If you're really serious on this though, you may want to call Cleveland Pick-A-Part http://www.clevelandpickapart.com/ and chat with them. They have done and will do for you almost any DCX swap you want....for a price of course. I don't bellieve the it is as outrageous as you might think either, considering the labor involved. Good luck on whatever direction you choose.
