2010 commander disable passenger airbag

I have one of those strange life scenarios coming up which will require me to put a child seat in the front passenger seat for a day. Is there any way to disable the passenger side airbag?

Thanks

It will disable automatically when the seat senses a certain weight range. The seat knows its lighter than an adult

With a car seat I'd think it would turn off. I've put my backup with clothes inside on the seat before and it shuts off

The amber pass. airbag light will come on. Believe it's on the very right of the evic buttons on the dash below the radio.

Not on a 2010, EVIC buttons are on the steering wheel.

Light should be somewhere close to the same spot as older models. They are in a similar place on most vehicles. Thinks it's a industry standard

No, there is no light or indication on a 2010. They redesigned the dash in 09.

It does not have an Occupant Classification System (OCS).
