2009 WK Fan

My cooling fan has been kicking on way to much in my opinion. Parked and idling with or without the heat/ac on, weather doesn't effect this either. Well the fan kicks off and on i'm guessing 5 times a minute. When i first bought this Jeep this never happened or if it did i could never here it. When it does kick on it's noticeably louder than i can ever remember. The fan needs to be replaced b/c the bearings are starting to go but im not sure if this will fix the problem of it constantly coming on all the time and the noise. I've heard something about a relay for this fan, doesn't this control when it needs to kick on, or could that be the problem.

the relay would only close the circuit.. there is a sensor somewhere telling it to turn on (high temp)..

What does your temp gauge look like? Coolant level? IDK
