2008 wk 3.0l crd help!

After blowing intercooler boot off a second time my jeep cranks but won't fire and I have the dreaded lightning bolt displayed on dash. Unhooked battery - no help. Code reader says P2009 which I can't find anywhere and wont clear. Any ideas out there?

Just guessing but sounds like an over boost situation. Don't know why it wouldn't fire though?

Try Google searching the code with CRD Mercedes in the search. I find a lot more info for other vehicles that have the same engine. Like the following: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w211...009-p2015.html

Sounds like it could be contaminated fuel or water-in-fuel sensor gone bad. Have no idea if the blown intercooler tube is related or not.

Checked codes with a different reader and have P0243, P0489 and P2009.

Not sure why but fuse #27 blew when my boot came off my homemade resonator delete pipe. Problem solved!

A code scanner can reset the codes so you can then see if they return. I use a BlueDriver scanner.
