2008 Limited Hemi - A good deal?

I'm just starting to look for a JGC Limited and this is exactly what I want down to the color. How good of a deal is this?

TIA

Very clean and low miles. I think $18-20k would be more appropriate for the year.

Thats a really nice jeep! With the low miles and if it has basically every option with it and the QDII that price isnt too bad. Its towards the higher end of the blue book value but you could most likely talk them down some. Excellent condition is marked at 25k and fair is marked at somewhere between 21-22k.

Thanks. I thought the price was a little on the high side, but wasn't sure.

Its not really THAT high though. You could try and talk them down a little.

But to put things in perspective for you....

My 2008 Limited Hemi had 75,000 when I bought it 9 months ago, and I paid $17,999 which is actually about or slightly under blue book for 75,000 miles.

Now, that one only having 39,000 miles would raise its value quite a bit. But not $24,000

It may be qt2. No qd2 badge on the console. Either way its nice.

I would offer 20,000 and set a price goal of 21,000.

I ran the VIN on the Free Carfax website:

Your vehicle has
19 history records

If it was me, I'd get the paid report before I put any money down. The Jeep looks super clean but.....

No doubt pull the paid carfax. 19 records in 6 years on the road could be service records and a few owners. Or could be deployed airbags and a shotty repair.

Same thing we bought in January. Identical except color. We paid $22k with 38k miles It depends on your local market really...

The front bumper may not be original, looks to have the (desirable) Overland chrome peice in the lower opening. I don't think you could get that without going to the overland package but it could be added if the previous owner saw fit to spend the money on it.

Got my 07 XK Limited Hemi in immaculate condition with 65K mi on it for $16K. Loaded with everything except the backup camera and the hands free BT. Even with 39K mi it still seems a bit high, but I'm in FL.

Interesting the text in the ad says 1 owner. With 19 service records in 6 years, I'd definitely do some more digging. Maybe it's just a very meticulous single owner or maybe that's all bunk.

I asked for a CarFax and a detailed options list, but the Internet Sales guy e-mailed me back to look in the ad. I guess he's going to let it sit unsold for a few more weeks then.

You could always pull it yourself and then have them reimburse you for it if you buy it. Odd that they won't spring for it though, it's pretty inexpensive.

That's about where they start here. Then after 2-3 months on the lot, they'll move at 19-20k.

I used a site called cargurus.com which give you an instant market value of the vehicle, when I was looking for mine. According to the site, it says it's over value by about $1050. Nice thing about this site is it gives you an idea of how long the car has been listed (which is 77 days for this one). Hasn't had any price changes in that time too. You could probably talk him down a bit but don't think you'll get lower than $21k.

Btw, I love that interior!
