2008 Grand ARB bumper will they work together(Pics added)

I recently purchased a 2008 Grand Cherokee and want to put an ARB bumper on it. I seen they don't exactly say they fit my year. Is all I need to do modify the grill or change it for a 2007 and it will fit? The gaps under the headlights do not bother me. Just want to be reassured before I order one. Thanks.

Did they say it will fit? I have an 08 and was looking at it.

Does it need a modification to fit right?

That is the similar to what a few others have done and gone with the hidden winch mount and then cut back the ARB bumper by 2" or 3" inches since they didn't need the winch mount in the ARB.

What I want is the winch in the ARB bumper.. and I have serch around a bit, but haven't found what modifications are needed to fit the stock ARB on the 2008 WK.

In that above example it looks like the mount points are the same and it fits? The mounts were only shortened to pull the bump in the 2 or 3" for the winch elimination mod....or am I missing something?

From what I have read, you will need to trim the top rear of the ARB to fit the 08 grill. Other than the fillets under the lights, this is all that is required.
The others mentioned did extensive modding to bring in the ARB closer to the body to have less overhang.

Wonder if the ARB can be trimmed sorter and still have the hidden winch on a CRD with a 3" intercooler?

Check out my build thread, I think it'll answer most of your questions about modifying an ARB. But in short, the normal WK ARB bull bar WILL work on a '08-10 with no additional modification.

My '10 with a highly modified ARB:

This pic is from before the hidden winch mount:

belay my last. You'll need to modify either your grill or the bumper where the grill contacts it. The '08-10 grill extends farther from the vehicle than the 05-07 and thus you'll need to trim to fit.

USN_BlackWK: with yours tucked closer, and I see a hidden winch now; how much room between the radiator and the winch & mount is there (if you can tell)?

None... But I put the winch behind the ARB mounting bracket with some modification to hide the bolts for a clean install. You could easily put it on the bumper like its supposed to be and cut the bracket to accommodate with plenty of room.
