2008 GC: Trail Rated Badge

i have not seen a single 4x4 GC, even a 2008 Overland, with the "Trail Rated" badge....yes we know all 4x4 GC's are "trail rated" but I am curious as to whether or not this badge is being used anymore on the GC.

all the GC's I have been looking at were delivered after 10-20-2007. none have the badge, many have the off-road package w/ the locking diffs...... still no badge.

anyone got a GC delivered later that has the badge?

Yes. Mine was delivered a few weeks ago.

Is it possible that the badge is dealer installed as part of the prep?

My 2008 Limited w/ QDII has the badge.

my dealer says no.

if you look on ebay there are several '08 GC's w/ QDII and none have the badge. wierd.

i know you can purchase the emblem i was just curious as to the disparity of the way jeep is shipping the 2008 gc's, some get it some do not, no biggie just wondering.......my dealer has (3) 2008 GC's w/ optional QDII and none have the badge, even thier 2008 Overland doesnt have it. i have yet to see any 2008 gc w/ the badge.

honestly i prefer the vehicle w/o the badge........in CT, 99.999% know "the trail" is just deep unplowed snow, piece of cake w/ a 4x4 gc.

I have the 08 CRD with the Quadra Drive 2, a $795.00 option, and I have the trail rated badge on the one fender, just like my Rubicon.

My 08 Limited 4.7L QuadraTrac II has the badge.

I have a 2006 Commander that came with one "Trail Rated" badge. I ordered another one from the parts department and placed on the right side so my Commander haas two badges.

my local Jeep dealer just got two more 2008 GC's one w/ QTII, one with QDII, neither one has the badge.

maybe its been discontinued?
