Wow - I think I read about that happening to r_unda a while back...
@Kolt-46: you said you were going to install a catch can - did you do that, and if so, what are the diameters of the in & out fittings?

Your ccv is likely broken or the hose from the ccv to the air intake is plugged. Just check both by unplugging the hose at the air intake tube and you should feel air blowing out at idle.

This is what I was going to install but everything blew up before I had the chance.

I had it flat-bedded back to my house and I installed the new CCV (came with a new tube and heater, $33 from Jeep dealership). Everything seems good at the moment. It lost a LOT of oil so I don't want to drive it until tomorrow when I can top it off. It's not even registering on the dipstick at the moment.

New CCV installed and the issue appears to be resolved.
