Thanks. I think it an electrical issue as there is plenty of freon, all the fuses and relays work, all the switches on the dash work. There is just no power to the compressor.

AC condenser is cracked on the drivers side upper mounting bracket. The condenser was replaced last year, defiantly not from debris damage

Just out of interest how much is a new AC condenser? Are there any aftermarket options? Mine is dead also - and was also replaced last year while still under extended warranty.

What do you mean the condenser is dead? Is it leaking for some reason, accident or front end damage? They usually don't leak except at the line input or ouput. Probably looking around $150 minimum and yes they have aftermarket options

$285 at the dealer who replaced it in April 2012.

No front end damage, no accident, same dealer who replaced it last year.

Meant to say AC system is dead.
I'm not sure if it is charged. How do you check the 'reset' valve mentioned above?
