In case of any lurkers following this thread the solution has been found.
Today I changed the trans filters. I know I'm the first one in there do to the RTV job looking perfect. (160k) The trans fluid was a redish brownish color; ready to be changed.
Besides the fluid looking a little dirty, nothing was loose. I unbolted the flat filter and it was still 'stuck' into seal in the back. Spin on filter was tight. Put new parts in, 5.5 quarts of ATF. Started jeep and let it run in neutral (not sure if the 545rfe pumps in park). Ran for 5 min and I shifted it into gear and THANK GOD it moved.
Test drive was uneventful.
So my thoughts are one of the filters was clogged completely. Most likely the flat filter. The spin on also was twice the weight of the new one which is probably normal. The magnet in the bottom of the pan was clean besides for some extremely fine paste like material that wiped off. Probably tiny metal pieces. Normal.
