2005 GC, what kind of amp? How many channels?

Recently my stock amplifier in my 05 Grand Cherokee blew. I was unable to find a OEM replacement anywhere.

I'm looking at buying a simple, cheap aftermarket one. I just need some sound, nothing fancy.

Would a 2 channel amp be okay?

I have the 6-CD changer with dvd system in back, no nav system.
