2" daystar lift
I have an 05 wk i am thinking about the 2" daystar lift i have a couple of questions.
1. Anyone that has installed the lift is it good lift since it is about the cheapest list out there for the WK 2. I have the extended maximum care warranty will the lift void my warranty or void parts on my warranty. 3. Anyone have any pics of this lift installed on their WK All comments welcome thanks

A 2" lift is a 2" lift. I don't know of any real difference in the materials used by the manufacturers that makes one better then the other. If someone knows differently, please let me know.
As for the warranty it's possible, and highly probable, they won't cover certain suspension components but it won't void your entire warranty. |

I've got a 2" lift on my WK if you want to look through my Gallery. If not, there's a ton on the WK picture thread.
--- My dealer was a little "non-specific" as to what would be covered and what wouldn't be. Just told me "suspension bits". They've covered what needed fixed with no issues so far, including the transmission, and actually really seem to like having a lifted WK around the lot. Each dealer will be slightly different. Some giving leeway and allowing a looser interpretation of the warranty rules. It's a Jeep after all. Some fiddling with the stock set up is pretty common. Shop around. |
