09 Limited with Quadra Trac 11 and Hemi

I am considering buying an 09 Limited with Hemi and Quadra trac 2.
It has 13,900 miles on it and their asking 29,900.

My question is how is quadra trac 2 compared to qudra drive ? Both are essentially full time units with a low range( not to be used over 5mph) correct?

And is that a fair price its loaded and has a clean car fax.

Any input greatly appreciated.

Your probably looking at 34 to 36k for a new 2010 equipped that way after all the rebates and haggling with the dealers. The Quad Driv2 has what they call electronic lockers. The Hemi in the 09's and later have variable valve timing and tow unbelievable. Went every day in mine this winter and never got stuck with QD2, outstanding. Of course I never got stuck with the QT2 either when I had that. So I would suggest try to find a new 09 (limited lifetime powertrain warranty) or haggle for a better deal on either a new one or the 09 you like. Don't forget the new style Jeeps will be out soon (2 months) and the current prices should drop. Good luck.

oldmac1,

Thanks for the input. So do the models with QT2 have the variable valve timing? I was thinking of offering them 26,000.00 for this one. The 09's had a 100,000 mile powertrain warranty but its not transferable so I would have only have what is left till 36,000 miles.

I just bought a 09 limited hemi fully loaded with 20,400 miles with quadra drive 2 for 30,000 with all warranties lasting tll 85,000 miles. so i beileve thats a good deal trie bringing them down a thousand or two. They also included the protector where all my seats are covered if torn burned up to 2 inches and uncar rust. If it rusts they fix it for free. If you could get all this then take it you will love the 09 hemi i know i do.

Check Carmax's website for a similar build. Their prices are usually less than what they advertise at a dealer and can give you an idea of what you should be paying.

QTII will probably be fine unless you are doing rock climbing or heavy offroading and really need lockers. With some good wheels, and maybe a small lift you will be fine with QTII. I also wish I went with the Hemi, I have the 4.7. Not sure about the price but the car is right.
