08 wk crd tow ready?

Morning all,
I recently just bought an 08 wk crd limited, and just a couple of questions that I can't seem to find an answer for,

My jeep never came with a hitch, and I am curious to know if the crds came with a tow haul mode or is that just a hemi/v6 thing?

And has anyone else front inside fender liners get chewed up from the tires? Tires are factory size, I'm thinking maybe my front springs have sagged to the point where they are causing this issue?

Thank you for your help

CRDs don't have a tow haul button. It doesn't appear it is needed as it pulls pretty well under most conditions. Fender liners could be from sagging springs. The problem usually only shows up after larger tires are installed.

My front fender liner of the diver's side is chewed up a bit but was like that when I bought it. Hasn't changed on my watch.

Slap a hitch on that CRD, wire up a brake controller and get towing. The CRD is a great tow vehicle, IMHO, though your fuel economy gets slashed.

The fender thing ... likely had oversized tires on it and took them off when they sold it. You can buy the pop rivets and push rivets on ebay cheep or at the dealer
