08 hemi and 16 plugs, what other surprises await ?

thinking about buying an 08 hemi GC tomorrow with 101K. been trying to look up things about it because every vehicle has their things that arent typical. i had no idea it has 16 plugs. been reading that it took someone almost 2 hours so they dont sound like fun.

so what other non traditional things do i have to look forward too. are brakes harder to do than my 96 GC, changing oil/filter, basic maintenance etc. any and all info appreciated

96 Grand Cherokee Laredo bought 10/07 with 98k; end of 2015 has 141K on

The only other thing I can think of is the front differential being IFS and the bushings going out. Two of the three bushings are relatively straight forward, there is one on top of the differential that takes hours to replace. Symptoms are typically a loud clunk when you go from Park to Drive/Reverse. Front struts are well, front struts. Not as easy as shocks to install. A lot of the rest of the WK is reused from the WJ and other jeeps - transmission (RFE545), rear end (Chry 8.25), electronics, etc. Hemi-related parts are pretty abundant too. I'm sure others will chime in with their unique WK issues though.

2010 WK Laredo 5.7L, 2004 WJ 4.7L (totaled), 1959 CJ-5, 1996 XJ (sold), 1989 YJ Wrangler 4.2L (Sold)

The plugs are easy on these WK's. It's the Ram trucks that are a pain, the rear 4 cylinders are under the cowl...

I've found regular maintenance is no more difficult than on anything else.

Do pick up a Fumoto oil drain valve though. If you have skid plates, the engine plate is in the way of the oil drain.

08 Limited Hemi - wheels, tires, springs...ya know, stuff
