08 diesel problem

My '08 diesel stopped while we were going about 70 mph a week ago. It wouldn't restart and had to get a flatbed ride home. Of course, it started at home. I took it to the dealer the next day. They had time to check it the following day and found the power control module to be bad. They said it would take 3 to 5 days to get the module! ( I went in with the printout of the service bulletin for the crankshaft position sensor). They replaced the crankshaft sensor, as well. Has anyone had a problem like that? Is there a service bulletin on it? I've got 33,860 miles on it. Just picked it up today, finally.

Fairly common issue, seems to be more prevalent in 07 models though:
