06 XK Differential Service Question
Is front differential made to just use the drain plug and then refill without actually taking the cover off and cleaning it out? Also, does the front need the friction modifier? Thanks.

Is the Commander a Quadra-Drive model or not? If it is, then you'll need the friction modifier. Otherwise you don't.
And yes, just drain and refill. |

Yep its the quadra drive. The dealer parts lady said she thought I only needed it in the rear, but from what I understood, my XK has ELSDs in both front and rear. Thanks!

Yep, the friction modifier is for both the front and rear.
