06 WK front passenger power window

I'm going through my list of needed improvements before winter, and the front passenger window is a little wonky. It always works, but sometimes is a little uneven in motion, and occasionally the motor reverses and lowers back down an inch or so after closing it (you can then raise it with the switch, and it stays up).

Should I just go ahead and replace the whole motor/regulator assembly? Any preferred sources?

Try resetting it, first. There's a few threads floating around regarding the issue.

Edit: Here's one of the posts I mentioned: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f67/s.../#post11820661

Ah -- thanks for the tip! I'll try that.

...

Tried it -- seems like the auto-reversing is better, but it still has an inconsistent, uneven motion going up (the motor sounds like it's straining ("err.. err... errr..."), so I'm guessing it's on its way out.

Mine also sounds like it strains. Though it's been doing it for the past three years so I'll just wait for it to go out before I do anything.

I've been waiting for mine to die so I have an excuse to buy one.
