06 WK 2wd lift???????????????

i have a 2006 Black wk with 245/65/17 Firestone Destination ATs, and would like to lift my jeep a little. I know there are 10million threads on this topic, but i have a questions.

I wont be upgrading tires anytime soon, only have about 25k miles on the destinations, i dont really do any off roading excpet for hunting season or maybe get off the beaten path every now and then to go kayaking. but how do you think a 2wd wk will look with a 2" Rough Country lift.

I mainly want it for the looks, i love the way a jeep wk looks with all terrains.

However, what i HATE is a huge gap b/w the tire and fenderwell, such as a chevrolet 2500.... those things look like they have a foot of space b/w the slick tires and the fenderwells.

I've removed the little 6" lip that attaches to the bottom of the front bumper, i always hated that thing, and now i really want to lift it a little, i just dont want it to look akward b/c its a 2wd with some average size tires.

so what do you think???? Im also tossing up the idea of putting some 1" spacers along with a 2" lift to give it a little wider stance also.

If anyone has pics of a wk lifted with 245/65/17 on factory wheels PLEASE POST PICS. I'd love to see how it'll look. Thanks

The fact that's it 2wd will not change the stance. The fact that u have 245s is gonna make it look like alot of empty space.

yah, thats why im HOPING to find a pic of a wk lifted with 245s to decide whether or not i want to go through with the lift, b/c the one thing i hate the most is a whole lot of extra wheel well space.

got em fulcher, thanks a bunch.

i've found 2 jeeps on this site so far that have 245s with a Rough Country 2" and i like the way they look. One has highway tires, and one has nice set of all terrains and i like the way they look, so i think im gonna try it out. HOPEFULLY it looks ok.

acidcold, thats a little more wheel well space than im, looking for. i guess different companies work different ways, b/c you have a 2.25 and that looks like alot compared to the 2" RC ones i've seen, makes me wonder if the RC ones are really a full 2inches
