05 Grand Cherokee Bluetooth (MAX DEVICES PAIRED)

I have an 05 Grand with NAV and bluetooth. When I go in and have it list paired devices, it states no paired devices. When I go and try to pair a device, it states maximum paired devices.... Something dont seem right.... right? And of course I went to look in my manual ... and forgot that some punk kids decided to steal it a few months back... anyone know what the heck is going on? Do you know how to clear the Bluetooth paired devices?

Thanks
Kyle

Delete Paired Cellular Phones

* Press the 'Phone' button to begin.
* After the "Ready" prompt, say "Setup Phone Pairing".
* At the next prompt, say "Delete".
* You will be asked to say the name of the phone that you wish to delete. You can either say the name of the phone that you wish to delete or you can say "All" to delete all the phones.

Here you go guys.. this will fire a few of you up. So I had the WK in for service and asked for them to check this out. I get... "Oh yah ... there is a service bulletin on this, there has been several people with this problem and it needs to be re-flashed". I said. great.. can you please fix it?.... "Sure... 205 bucks..." WTF.. known service bulletin, and no way for me to fix it myself.. and they want to charge me for it!!!!! WOW

U connect especially was a new thing in 05 so it did and does have issues. The software doesnt cost the dealer a time, however it does take time to download and initialize the modules.

Just need to find a guy who works at a dealer with a star scan and get the new software in there.

Uconnect - Maximum Devices Paired

I also have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee that uconnect states maximum paired devices. I've tried resetting via IOD with no changed results. Has anyone found the fix for this?

Thanks
