05' GC Sunroof Stuck ALL THE WAY Open - Please Help!

I know there are other threads on here about sunroof issues, however, mine's a bit different. I've heard to pull the fuse while the roof is in motion and I've heard the "put it in the vent position" to reset trick, but my problem is that my sunroof will not move at all, therefore I can't make it move to pull the fuse or put it into the vent position. It is stuck completely open. There is nothing in the tracks. The buttons light up but don't function, except for when I push the open button I hear a click or noise which indicates power is still going to it.
This just happened out of the blue today. It worked fine this morning and then just died mid-afternoon.
I am the second owner of my Jeep and found out that the sunroof is a Webasto Hollandia 735 inbuilt- factory installed. Since it came this way off the assembly line, I'm guessing all Jeeps have Webastos, but I'm honestly not sure?
Here's an image of the control panel . . .

This image does not match the image of the control panel my owners manual shows.
A couple of months ago I noticed my buttons were acting goofy. The open button would still open it, but the close button would not work and neither would the slide forward/vent button. To close it I had to hit the position 1 button for some reason. Now I've heard that these things can have programming issues, so I tried to reset it by disconnecting the battery - didn't work. I also checked the fuses, which were fine.
I took it to AutoZone - they had no clue. I took it to the local Jeep dealership for a free opinion - they wouldn't give me one even though they have before. Poopy.
So, I don't know what's wrong. I don't know if I need to reset the thing or what. All I know is that I can't afford to take it in, so I'm hoping to find a solution here. Honestly, I don't care if it doesn't work anymore. I just want to get it closed because it's supposed to rain all week and I don't have a garage. It's pretty heartbreaking to see it sitting in the driveway with a dirty brown tarp over it.
Thanks in advance.

I don't think it came from the factory with that setup, but I don't know 05s that well. The parts catalog does not show a switch like that.

I have an 05 and the switich on mine is different than yours. Look in the owners manual, as there has to be a way to close the sunroof manually.

What makes you think it was factory installed?

The more I nose around, the less I believe it. This is an aftermarket sunroof.

This is an aftermarket sunroof http://webastoshowroom.com/.
Should be easy to pop off the cover and jumper the switch to make it close .
Check on the website for owners or install manual .Good luck .

Thank y'all for the quick replies!!!
I thought it was factory installed because I found a Webasto flyer stating it was a factory option when you ordered one from a dealer back in 05'. With a bit more thought, my Jeep has some hail damage on the roof from the previous owner. Now I'm thinking they might have replaced the original sunroof after hail bashed it out, as my hood has been replaced as well.

Good news . . . PROBLEM SOLVED!

Yesterday I disconnected the battery for about 20 minutes and it didn't fix anything. Out of frustration this morning I disconnected the battery again and left it that way for well over an hour. Hooked it back up and VOILA! Sunroof closed! Thank God! It's starting to rain as we speak!
