It's been a while, not the greatest thread I have going here - but I got a steal and have to share.

image-4018885738.jpg

I was planning on painting my stock wheels matte black. However I was tooling around on eBay and found something interesting. I bid, won, and now they are here. Cost? $135 + shipping. So $235 in all - for 5!!!!

All unpacked - now my matte-black paint idea is out the window and on to bigger better ideas!

image-3270572804.jpg

Stay tuned.

Where did you get your lift installed? I'm also located in Northern VA and so far the cheapest quote I recieved was $600 from Hi-Tech Trucks and $650 from the Jeep Dealership, but neither place sounded like they had any idea about lifting a WK and said "The back is the hardest to lift". Looking for a place thats already lifted one.

Yes it is. I was inspired by Omelet.

I bought the OME HD online, and took it to Quality Tire in Woodbridge (next to Potomac mills).

I forget what it cost, maybe $500? But that was labor.

Well a little more refinement is needed, but the basic idea is there. Now just to come up with a better tape-off scheme and do some touch up. Other than that, wheel #1 is done.

It is Duplicolor Bedliner on the spokes, with OD Green Matte Camo paint on the spaces and on the center cap.

Thanks to some gorilla glue duct tape I was able to clean up the lines.

Got some good stuff coming down the pipeline!

Getting prepared to do the modification to my OME HD lify. Rusty's Rear spacers, Strut spacers, Adjustable Trackbar, and some cut/painted PVC pipe to extend the rear bump stops - all standing by to be installed. Still waiting on JKS #2001 disconnects to arrive for the rear sway bar.

Finally finished up the Wrangler rims I got off eBay. Now I just need to save a few more pennies to wrap them with 285/70/17 Toyo AT2s, which should make a nice compliment to the modified lift.

Next up will be to do the rear fender roll.
