Yo from Nevada

I've been reading you guys for a while, but I had to scrounge around for an email I could use to register.

Thinking about fixing up my old Jeep. Needs a new engine, new transmission, new door, new radio, new tires, new brakes, the driver's door doesn't open from the inside, the fuse box is melting from leaking coolant, there's a hole underneath the back seat that I can see to the road below...

Your average fixer-upper, in short.

Welcome! Where in NV are you from? I grew up in Reno, graduated from UNR, and spent a good amount of time as a pilot flying all over northern NV. Still have family (in-laws) in Ely as well.

Small world! I spent the first 11 years of my life in Gardnerville and had family there until I was in college! I used to fly right seat in a King Air for Sierra Pacific Power Company, but I haven't done that for years. I was also working as a flight instructor at the same time, and MEV was my favorite airport for night flying practice. Pilot controlled lighting is a marvel to new students!

Actually, snow would be a nice change of pace here in the Phoenix area! And yeah, the mountains here, while unique in their own right, have nothing on the Sierra Range!
