XjTassieXJ say HI and build up pictures

Hi all, Im Alan from Tasmania, Australia. Ive been looking at this site for some time now and decide it was time sign up.

I own a 1995 jeep cherokee sports.

My jeep is STD at the monemt expect for the 4.5" superflex lift kit, 30" tyres (way to small) and also on gas.

The jeep is on a three year project (which lm behind on) before on child starts school.

2007- still got to do the steering brace, 4 wheel disc brakes, rear driveshaft & SYE and shocks.

2008- Dual battery setup, rear drawer system, snorkel, exhaust 2 1/2", bonnet vents, bullbar, rearbar with tyre holder and bushwacker cut away flares.

2009- upgrade rear diff with either dana44 or super35 kit or maybe a nissan GQ, diff ratio and tyres 33-35".

Here are some pictures of the lift (didnt take that many). The first picture is before the lift. Havent been able to test it out to much, due to the shock been to short and needs SYE and shaft (hopeful soon).

This is after the lift, a big different. It made the tyres look too small.

Next l started was the rear drawers and cargo barrier. I didnt take to many photos of the build, but have to pull them apart to glue, so will take some then. Apart from that the only stuff left is the carpet and clean up to do.

to the forum and that is one fine looking XJ you got there. Very nice fab skills as well.

On Jeepforum, you need to be a member for 30 days and have 50 Tech posts to post pics that show up. THey will work just the way you posted them on other sites once you reach those two goals.

XjBonnet Vents

This is what it should look like when finish, not sure to leave black or paint them red.

Started the marking (got from go jeeps site).

Then the cutting with a 4" grinder Then paint to stop rusting.

Then putting the vents on.
