The quick intro from Green Bay.

Howdy. Figured I'd post in here since I've been on for a week and decided to stick it out.

Bought a 1998 TJ Sport. Six with the 5 speed. It has a BDS suspension lift, but I'm not sure how much. Tires are some cheaper 33x12.50x15's on Amercian Racing black wagon type rims. Bumpers/step are aftermarket. Soft top with full doors.

Front bumper was seriously tweaked, already ordered a Smittybuilt arc bumper to replace it. Next purchase will probably be some Tuffy components so I can get a real stereo in it. I'm leaving the soft top down as much as possible, and have no real intention of ever locking the doors, so Tuffy is required.

So far (4 days of ownership), so good. Bout to give it a tune up to see if that puts a dent in the 10 mpg. Otherwise, I've read on the threads about the o2 sensor, might change that too. Figure I should be getting more out of it then I am.

That's all for now. Here's what it looks like as bought:

Thanks.

Great forums can save a person a lot of headaches. Browsing through this one for the last couple days convinced me I can find any info I need, when I need it. Anything to keep it up and running.
