New Shop Old Mechanic

Hello to all members who read this introduction. I have joined the forum as I stumbled across it yesterday looking for some electrical information to diagnose a problem with my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I purchased the vehicle 8 months ago and am enjoying driving it.

As a young adult I apprenticed as an automotive mechanic in Canada and earned national certification. However, I did not stay in the trade as my career took a very different path. I recently retired and promised myself I would revisit my love for cars and working on them. To this end, I just recently completed building a new 1200 sq. ft. shop in which I will be able to work on restorations (and Jeeps when they quit working).

I appreciate the Forums and look forward to more conversations.
