New Member with a clutch question

Hello fellow Jeepers. I just joined the forum and I have a question about my transmission/clutch. This may not be the correct way (am I in the right forum?) but I'm new, so bear with me.
I have an '85 Cj7, 258 with a T176 trans and DANA 300. When I start it, cold, and let it warm up and then drive off, 1st gear shudders. After about 5 - 10 minutes of driving, the shuddering goes away. Any clue as to what's going on? There's no vibration while driving, so I doubt it's my driveline U-joints.

Lead, follow or get out of the way.
