New Jeep owner in Little Rock AFB, AR.

My name is John, and I just bought a 2006 SE (which I guess means TJ) Wrangler. At first I was ecstatic (I wanted a vehicle that could handle Anchorage once I moved back) but it seems to be sprouting a slew of problems that the previous owner "has no knowledge of".

I did a Google search of my problem and this forum happened to pop up. I browsed the site and was impressed with the amount of knowledge here, so I decided to join up.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post! I look forward to picking the brains of everyone and hopefully contributing back to the community.

welcome! I pass through LR a few times a year on my way to the offroad park in Hot Springs. You should check it out sometime, even a lesser-built rig can run some fun trails. Anyway, Wranglers from 97-06 are TJ's. That is the designation for that body style. The SE is a trim level. There are also X, Sahara, Rubicon and a few others that just indicate how they are equipped from the factory as far as engine, gearing, and some other stuff.

Thus concludes Jeep 101 class. Thank you for participating. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Most of us are friendly, and a few are even helpful
